The Ground-Breaking Ceremony of the New Campus of University of Cape Verde Project Held in Praia

On June 20, the ground-breaking ceremony of the New Campus of University of Cape Verde Project was held in Praia. China’s ambassador Du Xiaocong, Prime Minister Ulisses Correia e Silva, Minister of Education of Cape Verde and other 300 guests attended the ceremony.

China’s ambassador Du Xiaocong and Prime Minister of Cape Verde laid the foundation stone for the new campus project. Prime Minister Ulisses acknowledged the help and support from Chinese government in his speech. He said that Cape Verde would attach great importance to push the bilateral relations forward and the new campus project would greatly enhance the quality of education and accommodation for the university, which would eventually contribute to the development of the whole country.
